Turning a WhatsApp audience into a measurable lead-qualification funnel.
For Nevo Nof HaSharon, the engagement workflow was measured from unique recipients through delivery, reading and response to the final handoff of people who requested a conversation or were classified as hot leads.
The funnel, end to end.
What the data showed.
- Speed mattered: median time to read was about 20 minutes and median time to respond was about 12 minutes.
- Most engagement happened quickly: 55 of 74 respondents replied within one hour, and 69 replied within 24 hours.
- The strongest conversion point was after response: 22 people requested a conversation or were handed off as hot leads, equal to 30% of respondents.
- The biggest improvement opportunity remained follow-through: 44 respondents sent a short reply but did not progress to the next stage.
Why this is a useful AI / automation case.
It measures the whole journey.
The important question is not only whether a message was sent. Delivery, read rate, response rate and sales handoff reveal where the workflow creates value and where prospects drop out.
It exposes the next optimization target.
The 44 short-response conversations that did not advance are more useful than a vanity engagement number: they identify the exact part of the workflow to improve next.
The implementation lesson.
A sales automation project becomes more valuable when every stage is instrumented. That allows the team to test copy, qualification logic, follow-up timing and human handoff against a baseline instead of judging the system by anecdotal conversations.
Have a lead funnel with hidden drop-off?
Map the journey from first contact to qualified opportunity, then decide where AI, automation or better measurement can remove friction.
