Why source-linked answers matter.
For an enterprise knowledge system, speed is only one requirement. Employees also need confidence that an answer belongs to the correct model, year and document context. Source references make the workflow easier to review and reduce the risk of treating an unsupported generated answer as authoritative.
The same design pattern applies well beyond automotive: equipment manuals, operating procedures, policy libraries, product documentation and other environments where employees repeatedly search large bodies of internal knowledge.
